Rules of Indoor Cricket
Indoor Cricket has its own distinct rules that separate it from outdoor cricket, making it a fast, tactical, and highly accessible sport. All players bat, no one is dismissed, and the enclosed net court is integral to scoring.
The Basics
Each team fields 8 players. Both teams bat for 16 overs, with batting pairs rotating every 4 overs. Wickets result in a 5-run penalty rather than dismissal, so all players bat their full allocation. Runs are scored by crossing between creases and by hitting defined zones on the net.
